Hi, I’m Rahul! A freelance photographer based in Melbourne.
My journey into photography started about a year ago when I picked up my dad’s DSLR. He was a passionate nature and bird photographer, and I was always drawn to his work. Fascinated by the mechanics of manual photography, I took it upon myself to learn, experimenting with settings, light, and composition. Since then, I’ve been capturing moments through my travels, continuously refining my craft and I’ve never looked back.
What I love most about photography is the freedom and creativity it offers. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing my work resonate with people—especially when it brings out emotions, confidence, or lasting memories.
In Oct 2024, I had my first professional opportunity shooting for a clothing boutique, and the positive feedback was overwhelming. The experience was truly memorable. This led to a chain of recommendations, including the chance to photograph the grand opening of a beauty studio.
I continue to evolve as a photographer, always learning from the people I work with and the feedback I receive.
